How to get started

Q: I have downloaded VEXX, but cannot login!
A: You may need to download the correct GPRS settings for your network, see below!

Q: What are normally the numbers to dial for WAP Settings?
A: For Vodacom dial *111# .
For MTN dial *123*13# .
For Cell C dial *147# .
For Virgin contact the Virgin Call Centre on 074 100 0123 .


Q: I have managed to download the application, but I cannot log in?
A: You need to change your Settings to allow the application to connect to the internet/WAP. This needs to read Vodacom.GPRS or MTN GPRS or CellC GPRS (network dependent of course)

Q: I have received my WAP settings, but still cannot log in. How do I enable these settings to work?
A: In a NOKIA go to - Menu > Settings > Configuration settings > Access Point OR go to - Menu > Applications > Installations > App. Mgr > Installed apps. > VEXX-SMS.
Now click on Settings > Access Point. Set Access Point as per Q above.
In a SONY ERICSSON go to - Menu > Settings > Connectivity - Internet Settings. Select as per Q above.
